“I am excited to be joining Ewen and the team at Wunderman Thompson at such a hugely important time for the agency. Wunderman Thompson is uniquely placed: they are doing things differently, and I can’t wait to jump right in and get into the thick of it. Building a business for the future and the infrastructure and talent pipeline to help it succeed is what I love doing, and I’m thrilled to return to the agency world where I feel most at home,” said Hazel Boyle, chief people officer, Europe and South Africa, Wunderman Thompson.
Ewen Sturgeon, Europe & South Africa CEO, Wunderman Thompson, said: “Hazel is an incredibly bright, thoughtful, and passionate leader who we are thrilled to have join our team. As we look to build Wunderman Thompson, we needed to identify a strong individual who could help attract, retain, and inspire the very best talent in the industry to join our business. We know we have that in Hazel – her experience working across multiple industries and a variety of complex organisational transformations perfectly equips her for what we are doing here at Wunderman Thompson.”
As chief people officer of Europe and South Africa, Hazel will support 6,500 employees across 76 offices.
This new appointment follows the announcements from Wunderman Thompson EMEA earlier this year of Manuel Segimon as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, Glen Burson as chief technology officer, and Richard Dunn as chief strategy officer.
