Tim Godsall re-frames the perception of Parkinson’s, Darude umpires a tennis match for adidas and Dime, and Napoleon Dynamite gets the tots protector he always wanted, writes LBB’s Addison Capper

Parkinson Canada - Swagger

Broken Heart Love Affair, Tim Godsall, and Parkinson Canada have completely reframed perceptions around Parkinson's like I've never seen before with this spot. As someone whose family has been affected by the disease, it truly brought me a lot of joy when I first watched it earlier this week.

Ore-Ida - Tot-Protecting Pants

As a millennial who watched 'Napoleon Dynamite' well-nigh weekly as a teenager, this might be somewhat of a selfish pic. But dang it, what's being an editor of a publication if you can't flex your privileges once in a while? What's more, it was directed by Aaron Ruell, who plays Napoleon in the movie, via Holiday Films, Toronto. Creative was handled by The Kitchen, Kraft-Heinz's in-house agency.

Dime x adidas - Stan Smith

adidas and skate brand Dime recently collab'd on a pair of Stan Smith sneakers, so got Stan himself to help promote their new product. But that's not all. Darude - yes, of 'Sandstorm' fame - also got in on the act as the umpire of a game of tennis match - with skateboards as rackets - between skaters Nora Vasconcellos and Hugo Balek. Very enjoyable work from Toronto agency Denim and Telescope Films' Martin C Pariseau.

Explore Seattle Southside - Return to Seattle Southside

In 1947, six flying saucers hovered over the Southside region of Seattle. So, what better way to entice future interstellar tourists back than with an advertising campaign aimed directly at them with alien's favourite Earthly beings, cows, at the centre of the campaign. This campaign was created by One Twenty Three West.

The Melanoma Fund - Silhouettes

'Silhouettes', from UK organisation The Melanoma Fund, highlights the risks of taking part in outdoor sports in summer, without adequate sun protection. It features unprotected moles that have grown into melanomas. Their silhouettes mirror the shape of a footballer, swimmer, and a cyclist and are shown in areas of the body where melanoma is typically found in each skin type. The prints were shot by James Day and created by Neverland.
