Laughlin Constable, the independent, full-service agency, today announced that it has begun a new partnership with DampRid, a leading home care CPG brand. DampRid is the #1 leading brand of moisture absorbers and launched a national agency search in August 2024, selecting Laughlin Constable in late 2024.
“We loved everything about this assignment the moment it came to us,” said Anthony Romano, CEO of Laughlin Constable. “It was the perfect combination of a brand at an interesting inflection point and in need of a creative boost, combined with a category-leading product that solves a very real consumer problem, and a brave client with the ambition to do something fun and different. A perfect canvas for us.”
The DampRid brand team needed a new, long-term campaign to continue to drive the tremendous growth they have had over the last few years. Particularly the creative campaign must drive brand recognition, brand linkage and trial intention. The creative idea was tested with consumers who often are plagued by moisture problems in their home. The results were a new campaign that has tested better than any creative DampRid has tested before.
“Not only were we impressed with the Laughlin Constable team and their work, but consumers were also blown away by the work,” said Jennifer Hardwick, VP of brand marketing and innovation at W.M. Barr. “Laughlin’s campaign concept received our highest scores ever, including above average brand recall, that will really help us find and help people who have moisture problems in their homes. We are really excited about this new partnership and the work we’re about to do together.”
Laughlin has already begun production work on the new campaign, with a national rollout planned for spring. The integrated campaign will launch with tv and radio work, which is being produced by Laughlin’s award-winning production arm, HIVE Content Studio.
Laughlin Constable was recently honoured as an Ad Age 2024 Small Agency of the Year, as well as recently recognized with 2024 Clio, Effie, and ADDY awards for its work in creative, production and media.
