'Crazy He Calls Me', is a 1949 jazz standard composed by Carl Sigman, with lyrics by Bob Russell. Billie Holiday released the first recording of the song in that year.
Since then, it has been recorded numerous times by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Dinah Washington and Sarah Vaughan to name a small few!
Two years after Billie Holiday's version, Joe Mooney and His Trio recorded the song but adjusted the title and lyric to 'Crazy She Calls Me'
Since then, it has also been recorded numerous times by Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, Rod Stewart and Tony Bennett!
