Whitehouse Post editor Brian May returns stateside to call the New York office his new home after a stint at the company’s Amsterdam outpost. Embarking on his sixth year as part of the Whitehouse Post family, May now brings his command of the visual story to the pool of editorial talent at Whitehouse Post New York.
May began working for Whitehouse Post Los Angeles in 2007. Soon enough, May was in the editor’s chair and cutting on his own, weaving visual narratives and bringing his sharp comedic timing to spots like Microsoft’s Drawing for Microsoft for CP&B and Walmart’s Necklace, directed by Brian Billows for The Martin Agency. His credit list boasts some of the biggest in advertising, such as his work for Ping with The Martin Agency, and Nike New Masters directed by Peggy Steenvoorden.
May is excited about the possibilities that await his craft in the energetic city. Of the move, May says, “A dear friend once told me that what you put into New York City is what you get out of it.” His eagerness to test that theory is matched by the team of Whitehouse producers welcoming Brian to his New York home.
