Bursting with Cambodian positivity and directed by Stink’s Eoin Glaister, ‘Good Time for a KRUD’ was created by TSLA Singapore

Good is everywhere. But what is Krud kinda Good? A Krud Good can be big or small. It happens in the biggest cities and in the smallest villages. Good happens to all Cambodians, young or old, rich or poor. And whenever good happens, it is always worth celebrating with a Krud. Filmed by award winning DOP David Foulkes, this was the premise behind this playful campaign for Cambodia’s new beer - a beer for all celebrations!

After ending up with an edit that was full of relatable scenarios, unexpected laugh out loud moments, adventurous camera moves and a brilliant cast, the temptation to make it a 90-second was one shared by all.

In addition to overall compositing and finessing, Heckler Singapore was tasked with making some of the hyper-speed transitions seamless and adding a touch of CG to beautifully shot in-camera elements. Heckler focused on ensuring all the post elements complimented the heightened reality aesthetic that dictated the storytelling.

Eoin Glaister, director at Stink said: ”Heckler are my favourite sort of collaborator; the sort that make you look good. They came up with fantastic ideas throughout the process. They’re what I would describe as a yes and outfit, taking ideas, improving them and then executing them with aplomb. That’s right, APLOMB. They went above and beyond at every stage and I can’t bloody wait to work with them again.”

Cody Amos, VFX supervisor at Heckler said: "This was a really funny and well thought out project. Every shot has great characters that jump off the screen! Plus it was all shot super well. All of that just made it a great project to be involved with because we could really add value, and do some fun things that you couldn't get in camera. I loved the shots where we were upping the ante, to make them more over the top and dramatic. The end result is a really polished, funny film!"
