SoDA has appointed Wesley Ter Haar, as its new regional chair.
SoDA is an invitation-only organisation of the world’s best digital agencies and production companies. Globally it represents 78 companies with 215 offices in 26 countries across six continents. In Europe there are 22 agencies with 39 offices in 11 countries.
Wesley is founder and head of operations at Media Monks, the digital production company with offices in Amsterdam, London, New York and Singapore. He will champion a number of key SoDA programmes that deliver advice, guidance and best practice to Europe’s digital entrepreneurs and innovators leading the creation of future marketing and digital experiences.
Some initiatives that Wesley will lead in Europe:
- Agency annual salary survey – comparing who gets what internationally.
- The SoDA Report Volume 1 2014 – a biannual compendium of insights, research and thought leadership, which last year’s edition saw nearly 150,000 copies downloaded.
- Digital Marketing Outlook Study – a state of the industry review that addresses digital agency and production company business concerns in 2014.
- An increased presence at key industry events such as SXSW and Cannes.
