At Bridgeman Images, the team has partnered with Uniqlo on its debut Picasso UT collection, a project that not only showcases the brilliance of Picasso’s art but also supports a noble cause. Bridgeman worked diligently to ensure the highest standards of sourcing, research, and image integrity for the iconic works included in this collection.
This collaboration goes beyond celebrating Picasso's legacy. A key aspect of the collection is its support of Uniqlo’s Peace for All initiative, with 100% of proceeds going to international organisations that aid those affected by violence, discrimination, armed conflict, and poverty.
"Collaborating with the wonderful team at Uniqlo on this collection has been an incredible opportunity to bring Picasso’s iconic works to a new audience. At Bridgeman Images, we take pride in ensuring the highest quality research, sourcing, and image integrity, and it’s especially meaningful to see this project support Uniqlo’s Peace for All initiative. Art has the power to inspire and create positive change, and we’re thrilled to be part of this journey." said Martin Hasselbring, director of partnerships and innovation, Bridgeman Images
Pablo Picasso, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, shaped contemporary art across various mediums, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, and stage design. For Uniqlo's debut UT collection of graphic T-shirts featuring his work, we collaborated to carefully select four of his iconic paintings, each transformed into wearable art for a global audience.
Bridgeman Images is proud to contribute to a project that not only celebrates the legacy of one of history's greatest artists but also makes a meaningful difference in the world.
