Creative and media agency Walrus is once again hitting the streets of NYC with a series of humorous ads for restaurant group Quality Branded; this time with two individual campaigns for its Smith & Wollensky and Quality Eats restaurants.
For Smith & Wollensky, a series of OOH ads post this week on kiosks around midtown Manhattan, along with a print buy in the New York Times, reminding people that the local mainstay does one thing really well — steaks. Other stuff? Meh. And that’s just fine. Or, as Walrus chief creative officer Deacon Webster, puts it: “Smith & Wollensky is old school. They do one thing well: steaks. All the stuff the kids are into today, not so much.”
In addition to this, Walrus has released new OOH for Quality Eats around its West Village, Nomad and Upper East Side locations. The ads take a look at the intersection at which fine things meet at Quality Eats.
The ads will be running throughout June.
