Visit Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau are launching their first joint destination marketing campaign, representing a $6.5 million effort to drive more tourism to the region this year and leading up to 2026.
The campaign — developed by Allen & Gerritsen, a Boston advertising agency that also has an office in Philadelphia — was announced during a 2023 Tourism Outlook event put on Tuesday by Visit Philly and the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The theme of the event, ‘United in Progress,’ was chosen to emphasise the continued work between the two destination marketing organisations.
