VGBND Gets a New Look

Some say that people never really change. Vagabond Production Services see it differently.

Life is a journey that requires growth and in order for this to happen, change must occur. The partners at VGBND, who established the company more than 20 years ago, apply this line of thinking to their brand. Just as it changes and grows, so must the businesses. In the past, the team has revamped Vagabond Production Services as needed, but this time its aimed to go above and beyond by collaborating with the design team at Funkhaus on all things visual.

“The team at Vagabond allowed us to truly explore the re-imagination of an existing brand,” says Funkhaus creative director David Funkhouser. “We went pretty wild with the initial logo explorations, ranging from highly kinetic typography to even dropping the vowels out of the word Vagabond itself. That very bold decision, in the end, left us with a logotype that is elevated, modern, and refined in a way that will remain timeless for years to come.”

Vagabond couldn’t be more excited about this contemporary representation of all it has to offer, which also promises what’s in store. The new design is indicative of the mature, grounded production services company that it has become over the last two decades, but don’t be alarmed, Vagabond still know how to have fun at its seasoned age.

Vagabond are ready to share an elevated version of itself that the partners, plus everyone at VGBND, put a lot of thought into. Its streamlined logo and renovated website truly capture the growth of who it was to where it is now.
