VCCP Berlin has been appointed as the lead agency for BILD, Europe’s biggest daily newspaper. They will oversee the entire brand, which includes the newspaper, online portal BILD.de, as well as all mobile channels.
VCCP Berlin will develop a comprehensive new brand identity for BILD. The objective is “to strengthen the role of BILD as a leading media outlet in a digital age,” says Donata Hopfen, Chairwoman of the Management Board of BILD Group.
“We were invited to participate in the pitch via a wild card, and we are very proud to have convinced BILD with our ideas which we tried to make as courageous as BILD itself. Working with one of the most influential media brands in Europe is a big task for us, but one we’re really excited to take on. We are looking forward to working with a feisty client that challenges our capabilities,” says Oliver Frank, Executive Creative Director at VCCP Berlin.
VCCP Berlin won the account in a competitive pitch. The first campaign will launch within the next few months.
