Unbound have appointed Charlie Griffith as their first ever managing director, working alongside founding partners Elspeth Lynn and Paul Hogarth, to strengthen their leadership team and drive business growth.
Elspeth Lynn said, “We knew Charlie was the right person for us. His ambition, client relationship skills and experience is exactly what we need to grow our business. Being at an independent creative-led agency requires determination, dexterity and energy. All of which Charlie has in spades.”
Charlie most recently spent five years at VCCP heading up the Mondelez account, driving Cadbury’s multiple creative and effectiveness successes, with previous roles at BBH on Audi and FCB Inferno on BMW. He has won 2 x IPA Effectiveness Grand Prixs for both Cadbury and Audi, as well as a Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Pearson’s Project Literacy.
Charlie said, “I could not feel more proud to be leading an exciting, agile creative shop like Unbound. I was immediately inspired by Elspeth and Paul’s vision and cannot wait to build it alongside them and the ever-growing wonderful team at Unbound. The foundations are so solid and the potential is off the charts”.
Unbound is named so, due to their focus on creativity and ideas with limitless potential for clients; free from stereotypes and traditional agency hierarchy, structure and costs.
