Everyone is familiar with the term "life hacks," the many ways to tweak a concept or product to make it easier to navigate our modern world. Now Chicago-based beverage company Mike’s Hard Lemonade is reimagining the term, with a refreshing twist on with what they’re calling ‘#Mikehacks’ - innovative ideas using Mike's Hard Lemonade cans and boxes, each one designed to maximize the fun at summertime occasions.
Chicago advertising agency TRIS3CT enlisted Über Content director Daniel Strange to introduce #mikehacks with a 6-spot campaign directing viewers to www.getmikehacks.com, where you can watch tutorials, download blueprints, and upload your own creative ideas. Strange calls on his natural instinct for comedy with the 6-spot campaign, taking to summertime’s outdoor events to demonstrate the ingenious devices in action.
The viewer is introduced to unique party masterpieces, including the miniature hot dog cooker AKA “The Bitty-Q”, a floating drink delivery system for the pool, and a tiered flavor fountain constructed from miniature swimming pools. For those looking for a summer romance, one Romeo demonstrates how to serenade the object of affection with the sweet sound of a flute made of Mike’s bottles.
With both function and flair, Daniel Strange shows the world that #mikehacks are the cleverest way to be a summertime hero.
