Content series from Pitch Marketing and KODE launches across Tinder’s TikTok, Instagram and YouTube

Tinder announces its official partnership with the new feature film Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, the final chapter in the beloved romantic-comedy franchise, which sees Bridget dive back into the dating world with a new Tinder profile. Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, from Universal Pictures, StudioCanal and Miramax, arrives in UK cinemas 13th February.

To celebrate the film’s release, Tinder is rolling out an engaging content series across social media with its own real-life Bridget Jones. The series will take viewers along on real-life Bridget’s dating journey as she joins Tinder, and just like her on-screen namesake, real-life Bridget is making 2025 her year to shine.

Done waiting for Mr. Right to fall into her lap, real-life Bridget is taking matters into her own hands, exploring the endless possibilities that Tinder can bring when two people connect. Drawing parallels to some of the most iconic moments from the film series, but with a modern-day spin, Tinder’s social-first campaign sees gen z Bridget explore the realness of dating for today’s young singles on the app where a relationship starts every three seconds.

In her own words, real-life Bridget notes, “The OG Bridget paved the way for all of us girls navigating the joys of dating, and now it’s my turn. I’m excited to dive into the world of Tinder with an open mind, a hopeful heart, and some quirky flirting techniques. Will I meet my own Mr. Darcy? Who knows, but either way, join me on this fun ride - I promise to share all of the highs and laughs.”

The first video of Tinder’s own real-life Bridget Jones’ vlog series is now live across Tinder’s TikTok, Instagram and YouTube platforms, and is a playful ode to the opening titles of 'Bridget Jones’s Diary,' with real-life Bridget promising to not waste her time on ghosters, stop overthinking the icks and manifest emotionally available men. More diary entries will drop over the coming weeks.

Joanna Pons, senior marketing director at Tinder comments, “The Bridget Jones franchise has long been synonymous with modern romance, and as the UK’s most popular dating app for under-30s, we’re thrilled to be the official film partner for this iconic final chapter. With the help of our real-life Bridget, we’re looking forward to sharing the exciting possibilities that can start when you meet someone on Tinder - whether it’s finding yourself, meeting new people or even your soulmate!”

To celebrate this collaboration, Tinder is also offering fifty real-life Bridget Jones’ across the UK a free six-month Tinder Gold subscription to help them find their next connection and rediscover the excitement of dating. Bridget Jones’ can head to Tinder’s UK Instagram to find out more on how to enter. Terms and conditions apply.
