Mother’s day used to be a date when your mum looked forward to that special present, which you made by hand, to express just how much she truly meant to you. But as the years have gone by, what were once “works of art” have given way to hastily purchased gifts that she, well, didn’t like so much (who hasn’t bought her a cookbook or a cheap perfume at some point). Well, isn’t it about time you stopped letting her down and got her something truly satisfying for once?
Pornhub thinks that the mums of the world deserve to reclaim the excitement of such a significant date, and what could be better than giving them the chance to experience the latest advancement in adult entertainment: VR porn.
“Most of us see our moms as the women who gave us life and it’s hard for us to see them as anything but that. We think mothers everywhere deserve to be recognised as women with their own needs and desires. Mother’s Day is a perfect chance for them to take a look at the possibilities Pornhub has to offer in terms of broadening their sexual horizons,” say Corey Price, Vice President of Pornhub.
Mommy’s Special Glasses looks like a typical Mother’s Day Greeting card, heartwarming message and all, with one very special difference: When she opens it up she’ll discover a pop-up VR headset and instructions on how to enjoy a unique adult experience. To use them, she’ll just have to go to mommysglasses.com on her smartphone and select from one of the specially curated videos before placing the phone inside the card to enjoy an adult VR experience from a woman’s point of view. From straight, to gay, to scenes involving multiple partners, the videos available on the site were chosen based on data from the brand’s well known 'Pornhub Insights.'
Mommy’s Special Glasses are available for free on mommysspecialglasses.com starting today until supplies run out. Order yours now to get them on time for Mother’s Day so she can turn her favourite day of the year into the best night of her life.
The campaign was created by Spanish ad agency Officer & Gentleman, and marks yet another in a long line of moves by the brand aimed at creating a dialogue with all audiences by using technology as a segue. Employing humour, innovation and SFW branded content, the agency has been helping the brand connect with users and non-users alike with ideas like the fitness initiative BangFit, the wearable charger the Wankband and the censor-defying app TrickPics.
Mommy’s Special Glasses were specially designed for the campaign by the agency and produced by Madrid-based VR developers 6D Lab.
