Campaign from Courage helps clients make travel ambitions a reality

Everyone’s idea of adventure is different, from going on an exotic safari, to trying everything on the room service menu. In its new campaign for clients who are prioritising travel, CIBC worked with AOR Courage Inc. to create 'The World Is Your Oyster,' a campaign that highlights different ways to adventure with the points you earn on CIBC Aventura. 

The campaign launched with a short film directed by Mark Zibert that sees travellers around the world enjoying oysters in every way possible - from trying a yiayia’s family recipe in Greece to shopping for pearls in Dubai, to marvelling at Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with the Pearl Earring in a museum. 

The oysters are more than a delicious centrepiece: the team behind the work hopes viewers will see how CIBC Aventura is the card that will help you achieve your travel ambitions. 

“Adventure is so necessary for our development and quality of life,” said Dhaval Bhatt, founder and co-CCO of Courage. “It’s our opportunity to try new experiences, to test our own perceived limitations. We’re so endeared to CIBC’s commitment to making these ambitious moments happen for their clients, and we wanted to create something that was both a reflection of that commitment and a love letter to what’s possible when you venture out of your comfort zone.” 

The film is accompanied by out-of-home and print featuring iconic travel destinations carefully rendered inside oyster shells.
