Samuel joins The Romans from his previous role at PR agency Cirkle

Creative comms agency, The Romans, has appointed Samuel Morgan-Smith as new head of social. 

Samuel joins the agency in a period of growth, heading up a burgeoning division that has won a series of social awards over the past year. Samuel is charged with driving new business growth and deepening the agency’s expertise and client work in the areas of social, digital and influencer relations, exploring what additional specialisms can be introduced to further benefit the agency’s client roster.

Samuel brings over a decade of experience to his new role, coming from PR agency Cirkle, where he led the charge in creating and executing strategic, results-driven campaigns across social media and influencer marketing. He has led successful multi-channel campaigns for leading businesses including Four Seasons, Nestlé, Max Factor and AkzoNobel.

The Romans has been bolstering their digital division over the past 12 months, which now accounts for nearly a third of the overall business. Recent major client wins include social content campaigns for the likes of PG Tips, Heineken and Ingka Centres, as well as influencer campaigns for brands such as Airbnb, Snapchat and Nationwide.

Samuel Morgan-Smith commented, “Simply put, I am beyond excited to be joining The Romans.
