Editor Jonnie Scarlett has collaborated once again with JWT to deliver the latest HSBC commercial directed by The Sweet Shop’s Louis Sutherland.
The film showcases HSBC’s new mobile banking app, under the guise of a young girl desperately trying to complete her football album by getting hold what appears to be a ‘Super Rare’ sticker of soccer player Zumo. With her mother finally deciding to visit the home of the soccer star to take their own photo to complete their album, the underlying premise is that little things can make a big difference.
With an edit full of pace and intrigue, a super performance from our hero girl and a well-sourced track, the commercial effortlessly leaves a smile on our face.
