Brighton Agency has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honour by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organisations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritise and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
Brighton employees nominated their company for the award for many reasons, ranging from the professional development opportunities it offers to the social events it hosts. Brighton’s unique perks are also appreciated: Birthday PTO, paid sabbaticals for long-term employees, quarterly Bring Your Dog to Work Day to benefit local animal shelters, barbecues during Cardinals day games, summer ice cream truck visits, dry cleaning service, book clubs, movie nights and many more.
“Every Brighton employee is invited to help shape our culture, and suggestions are always encouraged and often implemented,” says Tina VonderHaar, Brighton Agency owner and CEO. “ We have a Brighton Ambassadors team tasked with planning events that allow us to connect with one another, recharge our batteries a little and celebrate the work we do for our clients. I’m honoured by the recognition because it validates that we truly have established a unique culture in which employees work hard but also have a lot of fun".
