Our LEGO Agency (OLA), the internal creative agency at the LEGO Group, has today announced a trio of senior creative appointments as a continued effort in the agency’s major refresh to meet the demands of the new consumer landscape and bring to life the LEGO Group’s brand vision through 2023 and beyond.
Andy Grant has joined OLA in Billund as global creative lead, brand, having previously held the role of executive creative director at TBWA in Singapore, and prior to that role the title of executive creative director of iris New York.
Clarence Chiew joins OLA as a creative director, China, having previously worked as an executive creative director at Anomaly Shanghai, where he was the creative lead on MINI, whilst prior he led the creative departments of Leo Burnett and iris in Singapore, and was voted by his peers as one of Singapore’s 15 Most Influential Creative Directors.
And Rudi Anggono has joined OLA as a creative director in the Americas region, having most recently held the title of global creative director and experience design strategist at Beyond X, a Google Shopping UX think tank. Previously, Rudi was global creative director at Google Commerce UX, head of creative at Google ZOO and, prior to Google, Pan-European executive creative director at TBWA Paris.
Andy, Clarence and Rudi’s appointments follow other senior creative hires announced by OLA in 2023 as part of the agency’s refresh to meet the demands of an evolving consumer and media landscape, bringing to life the LEGO® Group’s brand vision. They have included Pia Chaudhuri as global creative play lead, play inclusion, as well as Ash Temple and Hazel Tracey as director of global social creative and creative director of social, respectively.

Andy Grant’s career spans two decades and four continents. Before joining Our LEGO Agency, he worked at agencies including BBH, CP+B, TBWA, and Ogilvy. Andy has worked on brands including Audi, Coca-cola, IKEA, Microsoft, Netflix, Singapore Airlines, Spotify, and has had work recognised at Cannes, Clio, D&AD and more.
In addition to his previous roles at Anomaly Shanghai, Leo Burnett and iris, Clarence Chiew has served as a jury member at Cannes, the Singapore Media Awards, the Crowbar Awards, and as category jury president for the Singapore Creative Circle Awards. His work has also seen him develop major integrated campaigns for brands such as Heineken, SilkAir, Heineken and more.
Rudi Anggono joins with more than 20+ years experience in advertising, product design and research, having built, created, launched and shaped some of the most iconic brands, products and experiences. In addition to over eight years in roles connected to Google, including his team winning an Emmy Award for innovative use of media, Rudi was Pan-European executive creative director at TBWA Paris, and held creative director and art director roles at AKQA, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Crispin Porter + Bogusky (Miami) and Butler Shine Stern & Partners.
OLA is responsible for driving communication and content experiences through the development and execution of global advertising campaigns from the LEGO Group, as well as bringing to life new media experiences and activating local tactics across the brand’s portfolio of play experiences.
