The Berry and Dakar Rally Reunite to Create an Action-Packed Launch Film for Dakar in Saudi 2024

A thrilling launch film to celebrate another year of Dakar Rally for The Berry, produced alongside their friends at Saudi Motorsport Company!

The Berry and their talented production team embarked on a journey to Portalegre, Portugal. With the help of both locals and police officers, they were able to shut down roads, town squares, restaurants and more.

This huge team effort meant they were able to capture epic shots of the Toyota T3 gliding around the empty streets. Headlined by Saudi Arabian athlete and Dakar legend, Dania Akeel, the film delivers an exhilarating, action-packed watch, with creative and filming style nods to Johnny English and James Bond.

As well as Portugal, The Berry team filmed in London, Saudi Arabia and Tokyo to capture a selection of rapid-fire snippets that feature in the film. This piece is a great example of The Berry’s ability to create action-packed, stand-out live action content with talented cast on location and, of course, some subtle VFX.​

With some subtle nods to last year's extremely successful promo, including a return appearance from fan favourite Andrew (Bond) Daly, the film perfectly sets up Dakar rally 2024 and adds another level of excitement!
