The campaign perfectly unveils Hansens return to its trademark red, through impressive CGI and VFX produced in-house at The Berry.
The Berry collaborated with HANSEN to create this fully CG film which is set in a futuristic, electric-focused world, celebrating the liveries that will wrap a pair of electric Peugeot 208 RX1e cars for siblings Timmy and Kevin Hansen. The car’s new signature look is cinematically demonstrated in the 30 second film that was made entirely with CGI software, Cinema 4D!
The CGI process involved using a range of techniques, including 3D modelling of the RX1e car from scratch to achieve an authentic resemblance and texturing. This project also involved experimenting with creating moody and unique lighting setups as well as otherwise-impossible camera angles and settings.
The film has ramped up excitement for the Hansen fanbase for FIA’s World Rallycross Championship this year and has been the perfect reveal of the car’s new livery in typical Berry fashion - BIG and BOLD. The Berry have been in partnership with Hansen for some time now and can safely say there’s never a dull moment coming up with creative ways to support them on their exhilarating career.
