A fruitful partnership involving TELEVISOR, Analog/Digital Agency, and the design studio of Adrian & Gidi resulted in a project that effectively blended analog and digital elements.
Adrian & Gidi meticulously crafted stunning paper flowers, which were then photographed and transformed into the CG universe by the team at TELEVISOR, culminating in a mesmerising animation.
This project showcased the promotional video for “Flowerbomb Bloom,” a fragrance by Viktor & Rolf.
Adrian & Gidi, a versatile design studio based in Amsterdam, specialises in various materials and techniques, with a particular passion for paper craft.
The tricky technical part of the project belonged to TELEVISOR. Opposite worlds had to be put together. Analog and digital into one.
Firstly, the paper had to be transferred into its digital version based on photographs. This required highly skilled CG professionals with an eye for detail.
The animation process focused on maintaining the unique characteristics of the paper flowers in 3D motion, ensuring a faithful representation of Adrian & Gidi’s intricate designs.
It was essential for TELEVISOR’s animation lead to ensure that Adrian & Gidi’s intricate paper flowers were animated in a manner that preserved the natural essence of Adrian & Gidi’s images.
