TBWA\Media Arts Lab London will part ways with managing director Matt Brown, after only five months in the position, Little Black Book has learned.
Insiders say that the departure is due to personality clashes between Brown, who was previously managing partner at Brooklyn Brothers, and other members of the leadership team including group creative director Stephen Hancock and head of account management Zaida Vazquez.
“It is well known within the agency that he didn’t get on with Stephen nor Zaida and was a bad fit for the agency,” said a source with links to the agency.
The advertising agency, which is dedicated solely to electronics brand Apple, is now in the process of recruiting for the role of managing director in London again.
Little Black Book approached the agency about this but they have yet to comment.
