Tanguay is getting into the holiday spirit with a seasonal campaign launched in collaboration with LG2. In a series of festive executions, the creative gives a knowing nod to parents (without revealing too much to the little ones) by showcasing a key element in keeping the holiday magic alive: the art of hiding gifts. And what better way to conceal your presents than with a vast selection of furniture that’s sure to confuse any budding detectives? The bilingual, multi-channel campaign will run online, in proximity OOH and on TV and social media.
“Tanguay is a family story. There’s no better moment to connect with Quebecers than at this unique and particularly special time of year. The memories we create in our homes are associated with important events, often celebrations, and the holiday season is no exception. By providing official hiding spots for gifts, whether it's under the bed, in the sock drawer or inside any other piece of furniture, our banner can become a part of these festive traditions.” said Stéphanie Painchaud, marketing director, Tanguay.
“We all have a story about trying to hide gifts – accidentally finding one in a piece of furniture or hiding one too well and forgetting where it is. Whether you’re the person doing the hiding or the person who can’t resist a treasure hunt before Christmas Day, it’s easy to relate to this campaign because it’s a situation so many have experienced. Becoming the official holiday hiding spot and helping to furnish new traditions are two obvious ways for the brand to celebrate this time of year.” said Roxanne Pelletier, creative copywriter, LG2.
