Supernova, Atomic London’s social creator agency, has appointed award-winning creative leader Candice Green as creative director, to help further elevate its creative output and strengthen its position as a leading force in the creator economy.
Candice joins following a period of significant growth for Supernova, which launched in late 2023 and has already delivered standout work for clients including Greater Anglia, Back Market, Vax, EY, Stansted Express and Remember a Charity. Her appointment marks a key moment in the agency’s creative evolution, bringing fresh firepower to both existing client partnerships and future opportunities.
Candice was most recently creative director at The Fifth Group, where she built and led the creative department, established the agency’s reputation as a social creative agency, and spearheaded campaigns for brands such as Disney+, YouTube, Tommee Tippee, UKTV, Beavertown, and Curaleaf.
Candice has previously held creative roles at VCCP, OMD UK and MEC. With a background in design and art direction, she has over a decade of experience crafting conceptually strong, culturally relevant campaigns that create impact in the social and digital space. A former Google Squared graduate, she was also named a member of the Media Leader Future 100 Club in 2024. Her work has been recognised across the industry, earning awards from the Content Marketing Association, Creativepool, the Influencer Marketing Awards, Digiday, the Social Buzz Awards, Corporate Communications Awards and YouTube’s Pride Month.
In her new role she will report into Supernova managing partners Tom Sneddon and Raf McDonnell, and lead creative output for clients including Greater Anglia, Back Market and Nest Pensions.
Tom Sneddon, managing partner, Supernova, said, “Candice has a real knack for developing highly creative, effective social campaigns where culture and creativity truly collide. For a brand to succeed, it needs to embed itself in culture and connect with its tribes. As the marketing landscape has evolved, connecting with audiences through social has become paramount to business success, and Candice brings a wealth of experience to lead and champion creativity through that process. We can’t wait to bring her expertise into the Supernova team.”
Candice Green, new creative director, Supernova, added, “From the moment I met the leadership team at Supernova, it was clear our visions were completely aligned. Their focus on ‘grown-up social’, treating it as a powerful strategic driver rather than a bolt-on, really resonated with me.
“I’m thrilled to join an agency that sees social as central to building brands and delivering real business impact. Supernova’s ambition to create bold, culturally relevant work that sparks conversation and delivers measurable results is something I’m incredibly passionate about. The opportunity to collaborate across the wider Atomic Orbit, using social insights and audience behaviour to inform creativity at every stage, is also hugely exciting.
“I can’t wait to get started and help push creative boundaries as we enter this next phase of growth.”
Candice’s appointment comes as Atomic London continues to evolve its integrated Orbit model, bringing together best-in-class capabilities across creative, social, strategy and media. By connecting these disciplines under one roof, Atomic is able to deliver fully joined-up, culturally relevant work, and Candice’s arrival at Supernova further strengthens that offer.
