Global production company Stadium welcomes acclaimed directing duo Ghost + Cow, known for their unique ability to breathe life into comedic worlds and characters. Formed by John Carlucci and Brandon LaGanke, Ghost + Cow skilfully blends deadpan performance, dialogue-driven direction and situational humour to deliver memorable stories within commercials, branded content, narrative films and music videos.
Ghost + Cow's diverse backgrounds in filmmaking, including producing, editing, shooting, and art direction, allowed them to develop their distinctive style while working on various projects for clients such as ESPN, SoFi, Johnnie Walker and Nationwide Insurance. After combining forces, their work in advertising has garnered numerous awards, including a Silver Pencil for Direction at the One Show, Best Branded Web Film at ThinkLA's Emerging Directors Showcase, and recognition as SHOOT Magazine's 'New Directors to Watch.' Their FOX and MARS short film earned a Bronze Lion at the 2018 Cannes Lions, while their Home Depot Pinterest campaign received a Silver Lion. Additionally, they won a Silver Promax award for their IFC and Portlandia TVC.
Their first feature film entitled 'Drunk Bus,' starring Charlie Tahan (Ozark), Kara Hayward (Moonrise Kingdom) and Will Forte World Premiered at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival in the Visions category and won Best Feature and Audience Award at the 2020 San Diego Film Festival, among many other awards. They’re currently in pre-production on their sophomore film.
