The Theme: "Agents of Change: Change from Within"

Each year, the ADCE Festival selects a theme that addresses pivotal issues in the creative industry, aiming to inspire and engage participants. For 2024, the focus is on personal and professional transformation. The theme 'Agents of Change: Change from Within' highlights the importance of self-reflection and personal growth as the foundation for broader industry change.

Meet the Curator: Laura Visco

Born in Buenos Aires, Laura Visco began her illustrious career in advertising at just 19 years old. Over the past two decades, she has led creative teams and agencies worldwide, earning accolades such as AdAge's Leading Women (2021) and Adweek's Women Trailblazer (2019). As a finalist for AdAge's Creative Director of the Year in 2018, Visco has consistently demonstrated her visionary approach and entrepreneurial spirit.

With over 20 years at the helm of communication companies and a spirited entrepreneurial approach. Her experience will definitely give rise to some dynamic discussions and spark innovative experiences throughout the festival.

“Before we can truly become agents of change in our respective fields, we must first embark on a journey of personal transformation,” said Visco. “It is only by changing ourselves - our mindsets, our habits, our perspectives - that we can effectively catalyse change in our industries and beyond. The essence of being an agent of change lies in having the audacity to question, to disrupt, to step out of our respective comfort zones. Starting with ourselves.”
