With SoStereo’s Beto Azout at the helm, the series will feature a fresh lineup of industry luminaries, beginning with Golin’s ECD Frank Garcia
SoStereo’s celebrated podcast ‘What About the Music’ returns to our airways today for a fourth series, with a stellar lineup of guests set to share their insightful perspectives on music, advertising and branding.

"Music is not just crucial; it's transformative" remarks Beto Azout, co-founder of SoStereo. "At SoStereo, we're passionate about amplifying music's significance in advertising, believing it to be a game-changer for engagement and brand resonance. I am so excited to sit down with some of the greats in the industry and challenge perceptions about music's role in advertising.”

Hosted by SoStereo co-founder Beto Azout, season four launches with an intimate conversation with industry veteran, Frank Garcia, who currently serves as executive creative director at Golin.

Frank Garcia has enjoyed a successful career in advertising, after quitting his career as a vice-president in the Banking Industry to do something he’s crazy about - making commercials. Since then, Frank's illustrious career has garnered accolades from prestigious festivals including Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, D&AD, The One Show, New York Festivals, ADDY’s, AdAge, Adweek, PR Week, FWA, The Webbys, Young Guns, and Wave Festival, among others. Notably, he was recognized by Business Insider's 30 Under 30 for his exceptional contributions to advertising

During the filmed episode, a first in the series, Beto and Frank chat about all things music, including their own musical influences like MTV and drumming. Highlighting the power of bespoke music in bringing commercials to life, the pair imagine hilarious outcomes of reimaging iconic movie scenes with unexpected musical genres, like the use of ‘heavy metal’ music in the final scene of Titanic. "It's amazing to create something that feels tailor-made," adds Frank Garcia. "Music has the ability to elevate a spot and make it truly memorable."

The latest episode of ‘What About the Music’ is available on Spotify, Amazon Music and Apple Music.
