Sophie Lander to Take on Sydney MD Role at Cummins&Partners

Hot on the heels of the announcement of Michael McConville ex adam&eveDDB managing partner assuming the global CEO role of Cummins&Partners, comes a major Sydney appointment.

Sophie Lander leaves Dentsu after three years running their Sydney office of BWM Isobar and DMB to take up the MD role of Cummins&Partners Sydney.

She was previously client service director and was part of significant growth for the agency, with significant pieces of work gaining global industry recognition.

Said Lander says: “I’m incredibly proud to be named managing director of the Sydney office and I have been given a blank sheet to go crazy, get growth and do great work.”

“Both Michael and Sean (Cummins) have been integral in my decision to leave and my time with Rob Belgiovane and Paul Williams has given me the best experience working with passionate founders and leaders,” Lander added.

Said Sean Cummins: “I can’t believe how lucky we are to attract such wonderful talent and great leadership. Sophie has an amazing reputation for running FMCG accounts and also financial brand. That’s quite a spectrum and shows her diverse abilities”.
