SocialChain has appointed Mike Scott as executive creative director.
He will report directly to SocialChain’s CEO, Jacinta Faul and will be responsible for building on the agency’s social-first creative vision. Supporting and driving cutting-edge creativity for ambitious clients including SharkNinja, Linkedin and Holland & Barrett.
As a seasoned creative leader with almost twenty years of experience, Mike joins the SocialChain from THG and THG Studios, where he spent 11 years. Mike started as a designer, quickly progressed into leadership roles and eventually took on the position of creative director for Myprotein and THG Corporate accounts. Following an acquisition, he transitioned into an operations director role, overseeing the creative output across four countries and managing a global team of over 300. Returning to a core creative role in 2021, Mike took on the executive creative director (ECD) position, driving award-winning work for leading brands such as Disney, Asda, Homebase, Holland & Barrett, and Sky. One of his career highlights includes leading the creative direction and design for the Stick To Football studio, part of Gary Neville’s Overlap YouTube series and meeting his childhood heroes in the process.
