SMUGGLER Signs Celebrated Argentinian Directing Trio PANTERA

SMUGGLER has welcomed PANTERA, the acclaimed Argentinian directing trio of Pato Martinez, Brian Kazez, and Francisco Canton, to its roster for US and UK representation.
PANTERA is known for their confident approach and distinctive craftsmanship, delivering cinematic storytelling that is both dynamic and resonant. Their thoughtful use of sound, striking visuals, and nuanced performances creates a balance—serious yet playful, observational yet full of life. Whether capturing raw energy or quiet intimacy, their work reflects an effortless style that feels both modern and timeless.

Their ability to combine technical craft with a commitment to bold ideas has led to acclaimed collaborations with brands such as Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Visa, Jordan, and Nikon. From the CICLOPE Gold-winning “Historias Argentinas” for Renault to the high-octane comedic action of “Valet Guys” for Mercedes, each film reflects their natural sense for character, story and tone. Among their standout work is their poignant “The Journey” spot for UNHCR, capturing the resilience of a refugee Olympic athlete through a striking yet understated lens, and “Blowfish” for Mercedes-Benz, a surreal and elegantly crafted story of a boy and a fish.

PANTERA’s distinctive vision has also made an impact in the fashion world, where they have helmed campaigns for leading brands, including Jacquemus, Zalando and Adidas.

Garnering widespread critical acclaim, PANTERA’s global impact has been recognized with accolades from Cannes Lions, CICLOPE, The One Show, along with multiple UK Music Video Award nominations, Vimeo Staff Picks and selections at the Cannes Film Festival, TIFF and BFI London for “Nade de Todo Esto” and “Loose Fish” respectively.
