Smoke & Mirrors' Nick Wakeling Grades Oscar Winning Short Film, 'The Silent Child'

Smoke and Mirrors Colourist Nick Wakeling has officially won an Oscar for his work on 'The Silent Child'.

Smoke & Mirrors has released the below statement in response to Nick's success at this year's iconic film event. 

Congratulations to the entire team who worked on 'The Silent Child' short film, which won a prestigious Oscar earlier in the year, including our very own Nick Wakeling on a beautiful colour grade.

Upon finally seeing the trophy after a couple of hectic months, Nick reminisced, 'It was an exciting experience grading 'The Silent Child'. I got to grade a range of unique shots whilst learning so much in the process. I also got the chance to work with some great people.'
