Skip, Canada’s homegrown delivery network, is taking its commitment to ‘Skipping to the Good Part’ to new heights by partnering with TikTok Canada for a first-of-its-kind immersive experience at the 54th Annual JUNO Awards.
For the first time ever, the JUNOs x Skip Orange Carpet will be streamed live on TikTok, giving fans across the country exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the nation’s most celebrated night in music.
Hosted by Canadian actor and internet personality Boman Martinez-Reid (@bomanizer), who boasts over 2.5 million followers, the livestream will feature celebrity interviews, interactive elements, and a closer look at Canada’s musical talent—directly from the carpet, before the JUNO Awards Ceremony even begins.
Rachel MacAdam, Skip’s VP of marketing, discussed the strategic importance of this collaboration and its significance for both Skip and the JUNOs with LBB’s April Summers.

The livestream will serve as an opportunity for Skip to reinforce its role as an integral part of Canadian culture, engaging both music fans and Skip+ members. As part of the campaign, Skip+ members will have the chance to win VIP JUNO experiences, including invitations to attend the awards ceremony and participate in the Skip+ Fan Zone.
Rachel addressed how the TikTok LIVE experience will transform the traditional way fans engage with red carpet events, making them more inclusive and accessible.
“Carpets tend to feel out of reach for viewers at home, but we’re changing that! Fans will be able to get up close and personal with their favourite Canadian artists, with interviews and interactive games. This is a first of its kind livestream, and we’re excited to create a unique viewing experience for everyone watching from home.”
The interactive aspect of the livestream is central to Skip’s vision. By using TikTok, a platform known for fostering direct, real-time engagement, viewers will be able to interact with the hosts and guests, creating an experience that’s personal and engaging, far beyond the traditional passive viewership.
With a huge social following comprised of fans of his reactive and engaging content, Boman Martinez-Reid is the perfect host to lead the TikTok LIVE experience. The influencer will be bringing his signature humour and playful personality to the event, providing fans with the chance to ask questions, interact with celebrities, and join in the excitement of the night.
“Boman’s relatable and funny style captures attention and is endlessly entertaining to watch,” Rachel said. “Hosting the experience via TikTok will give fans the opportunity to interact with Boman directly through live chat, allowing them to join the conversation online. While Boman’s larger-than-life personality will shine through, it’s also a great opportunity for Skip to showcase its roots within Canadian culture and engage with Canadians across the country in real time.”
Looking beyond the JUNOs, Rachel revealed that Skip’s collaboration with TikTok is just the beginning of an exciting year ahead. As Skip continues to redefine the way it connects with Canadians, the brand is focused on creating unique, interactive experiences that go beyond its delivery services.
