'I'm dreaming of a black Christmas. With every Christmas card I burn.
May your nights be lit with our fire. And may all your Christmases so dark and black.'
Sizzer Amsterdam wishes everybody a merry Christmas in their own special way by introducing Bloody Bells doing a black metal rendition of Irving Berlin’s classic White Christmas. Who said Christmas and metal don’t mix?
And what would Christmas be without presents? Sizzer Amsterdam has created exclusive black Xmas logos for their partners, clients and friends, together with Christophe Szpajdel, the original Lord Of The Logos. Through his use of aesthetic influences such as art deco and nature, Szpajdel has brought a new dynamic into the gothic visuality of heavy metal.
Sizzer Amsterdam’s Marcel A. Wiebenga on #blackxmas: “Black Metal. Music-wise it doesn’t weigh up to a R-Kelly or a Rick Ross, but as a phenomenon it’s amazing. It is very much graphically oriented and therefore I am psyched, proud and very honored to have been able to work with the actual Lord of The Logos on this one. I mean this guy basically designed this music subculture and gave it a (type)face.”
