Sid Lee is pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Lise Campeau as its new global chief executive officer. This move marks a significant milestone as the agency enters the next phase of its evolution.
Marie-Lise, a proven strategic and innovative leader, will oversee all global business, which is served by Sid Lee’s group of entities across North America and Europe, in partnership with parent company Hakuhodo DY’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
She has been global chief operating officer at Sid Lee since October 2024 and previously served as president of Ogilvy Canada. Prior to Ogilvy, Marie-Lise spent nearly three years at Sid Lee, rising to executive vice president of business operations, making this appointment something of a homecoming.
“I’m thrilled to lead Sid Lee into the future and build on its legacy as a source of strategic and creative impact around the world,” said Marie-Lise. “I am impressed beyond measure by the talent across Sid Lee and know that we will continue to bring together craft, technology, innovation, and bespoke creative solutions to deliver success for our clients.”
Marie-Lise replaces Patrick McDaniel, who has served as interim CEO since October 2024. “We are so pleased to have Marie-Lise in this role. She understands the Sid Lee DNA and is the perfect person to grow the organisation globally,” said Patrick.
Philippe Meunier, co-founder and executive creative chairman, is transitioning into a new phase of his creative journey, stepping away from his role at the company. Since co-founding Sid Lee 33 years ago, Philippe has guided the agency’s transformation from a Montreal-based creative boutique into a multidisciplinary global creative powerhouse.
“Sid Lee has never been about one person—it has always been about the collective. The agency’s impact is the result of brilliant minds coming together, challenging the status quo, and pushing creativity forward. I leave with immense pride in what we’ve built together and full confidence in the next generation to continue leading the way,” said Philippe.
With a deep talent pool and a global network of partners, Sid Lee remains committed to delivering bold, world-class creative work. As the industry evolves, the agency will continue to push boundaries, challenge conventions, and redefine the future of creativity. Sid Lee’s legacy of innovation is set to grow even stronger under Marie-Lise's leadership.
