Celebrated trailblazers include Netflix’s Jeremi Gorman, Edelman’s Lisa Osborne Ross and P&G’s Susan Vanell-Charpentier

In pursuit of its mission to pave the way for more women to lead at all levels of marketing, media and tech, She Runs It routinely shines a spotlight on transformational leaders who set the pace for the industry, including an annual salute to three executives who best embody the fearless spirit of the organization: Women of the Year, which is now in its 60th year. The 2023 award recipients are: Jeremi Gorman, President of Worldwide Advertising for Netflix; Lisa Osborne Ross, Chief Executive Officer, Edelman US; and Susan Vanell-Charpentier, Senior Director of Purchases, Global Data, Analytics, Media, Marketing Tech and In-store for P&G.

Winners are selected from dozens of nominations and are chosen for lifting and championing others while driving growth and innovation for their companies.

“She Runs It exists to pave the way for more women to lead at every level of their careers in our industry, and these women exemplify that mission,” said Lynn Branigan, President and CEO of She Runs It. “They have done as much for their companies as they have for their communities, their teams, and the planet, always leading with empathy, challenging the status quo, pursuing sustainable business practices, all while lifting others. The awards event is an amazing lesson in leadership for everyone who attends because these winners also share their insights, experiences, and strategies for rising to the top.”

She serves on the boards of The Ad Council, The American Advertising Federation, and MMA Global. In addition, Jeremi is on the board of the non-profit, Women for Women International, which invests in women survivors of war and conflict, providing them with social and economic skills to transform their own lives.
