In partnership with the Saatchi Diversity Task Force, Saatchi & Saatchi announces the Saatchi Scholarship Program is now open for submissions for the 2024/2025 school year. The program is designed to provide financial assistance to creative, strategy, and data analytics students from diverse backgrounds with a need for financial assistance. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a panel of creatives, strategic managers, data analysts, and talent managers at the agency.
The $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to two deserving students, to be disbursed before the Spring 2025 semester. In addition to scholarship funds, the recipients will be mentored by a Saatchi & Saatchi professional. This includes virtual meetups each month and mentor access via email and text for one year.
“Growth and education are a fundamental value for us at Saatchi and we recognize the importance of investing in the future leaders of the industry,” said Chuck Maguy, chief executive officer at Saatchi & Saatchi. “It’s our hope that through the Saatchi scholarship and mentoring program we are making an impact towards reshaping our industry to become more diverse and inclusive with representation of the BIPOC community.”
The scholarship funds are intended as an investment in ongoing education of BIPOC students studying art direction, copywriting, production, editing, illustration, or strategy students studying marketing strategy or marketing analytics. The agency aims to help the chosen students achieve their personal ambitions and subsidise their school-related expenses. An ideal applicant would be a full-time student within the United States at an accredited four-year university, two-year community college, portfolio school, or an art school who is willing to submit a creative pitch.
Here’s how to enter: Submit a three-minute-or-less video pitch. Submissions should be fun and go beyond the usual way of thinking. The brief video should showcase the applicant’s talent and demonstrate their passion for a career in creative, production, strategy, or marketing analytics.
Priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Learn more about the scholarship program here.
Submissions must include:
1. Completed application
2. Creative pitch in video; upload videos to YouTube, adjust privacy settings to "Unlisted", and include the link in your application
3. Previous projects (optional)
Submissions are open through October 21.
