Rushes Soho shorts

The competition submission deadline is Thursday 21 April 2011. 

Entries can be submitted on DVD or via link or upload by filling out the entry form at http://entries.sohoshorts.com

 

To date the festival has seen interest from over 3,500 different companies and organisations, from 730 cities, in 90 countries* with just over half the entries being submitted to the festival coming from the UK and the rest from almost 40 countries across the world. 

 

The festival continues to celebrate the previous year’s best director in the competitive categories: Short Film, Animation, Documentary, Music Video, Newcomer, Broadcast Design, Long Form and International.

 

Experimental work can be submitted into consideration for a festival showcase programme with Tenderpixel Art Gallery up until 21 April via the entries website.

 

RSSF 2011 also includes a competition to design the front cover of the festival magazine, 20 additional film programmes highlighting work from Ireland, Belgium, USA, Germany, UK and Australia along with over 40 events at BAFTA, Applestore, Soho Deluxe, ICA and venues across London. Entry Criteria are:

•Films must be no more than 12 minutes without credits with the exception of 

The Long Form Category which is 30mins

•Films must have been completed between 1 January 2010 – 21 April 2011
