Rumble Studios has upped its ante and welcomed music producer Michael Gie to its expanding team.
Gie brings to the company many years of industry experience, highly sparked energy and more than a little bit of charm according to the rapidly establishing music production house.
A testament to the growing music department, Gie fills the need for a full time dedicated music producer, managing work for composers Johnny Green, Joff Bush and freelance teamsters as well as co-owner Tone Aston’s growing sound design suite.
Working as an account manger, production manager, scriptwriter, offline editor, assistant director and studio coordinator for an array of sound, production, post and media companies, Gie is highly relationship focused and committed to enhancing the client experience.
“I'm feeling very welcome at Rumble,” he said. “Tone and Johnny have created a great atmosphere here. It’s exciting to be on the ground floor of an expanding business with big dreams. I feel invested in the studio, our work, and in growing with Rumble and our clients".
Aston said it was a great feeling putting the right people in place to take the company forward.
"Getting Mikey on board was the easiest decision for Rumble so far,” he said. “His diverse musical tastes & exposure allow him to work with a variety of composers and utilise their strengths based on the brief.”
“He is a great fit for us. He’s brought ideas, a great energy and as much enthusiasm for Rumble as Johnny and I have. We don’t hold his passion for 90s rap against him in any way," Aston said.
