Beginning this week, Ruffwear Performance Gear for Dogs is launching a new national brand campaign – the first work from Milwaukee-based Hanson Dodge since it was named Ruffwear’s creative agency partner earlier this year.
Titled 'Quality Gear for Quality Time,' the goal of the campaign is to reach a broader range of consumers and get them to discover Ruffwear and fall in love with the brand. Advertising encourages dog owners to 'Go be with your dog' to get even more joy out of exploring the outdoors together.
The multimedia effort includes video, display, search and social media elements with messages such as “Who says your camping buddy needs to be human.” The ads feature a range of Ruffwear performance gear offerings; for example, the Flagline Dog Harness + Leash or the Hi & Light Dog Harness + Leash.
As more and more people are heading outdoors with their canine companions, they are looking for the same level of quality outdoor gear they wear, but for their dogs. Speaking at the time Hanson Dodge was named the company’s new agency partner, Robin Skillings, Ruffwear’s chief marketing officer, said, “Ruffwear is the original outdoor performance dog gear brand. It has, and will continue to be, our core focus and the primary way we inspire dog and human connections outdoors.”
Advertising will appear across North America on Connected TV, Meta, Google Paid Search, high-impact display and in partnerships with WeRateDogs and Gear Junkie.
