Simon joins RSA for global representation

Acclaimed photographer Simon Cave joins RSA Films Photo and Art for global representation. With a diverse background and a strong focus on identity, Simon is known for his raw and authentic imagery in both commercial and editorial photography. His distinctive style combines striking composition, evocative qualities, and a keen eye for colour.

Simon consistently challenges conventions, establishing original and impactful connections with his subjects. From his celebrated book 'Vicinus' to projects like capturing the Bronx community of opioid users, his goal is to create powerful, emotive images that tell stories.

Simon's exceptional talent has led to collaborations with renowned brands such as Altuzarra, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Under Armour, Victoria's Secret, and Calvin Klein. Furthermore, his editorial work has graced the pages of esteemed publications such as Vogue, Vogue China, Vogue Brazil, Vogue Thailand, L’Uomo Vogue, The New York Times, GQ, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar.

“It has been great getting to know Simon Cave and his photography and film work. He has a depth and richness to his work that is very unique to his experience and style.” Susie Babchick, head of photo and art, RSA Films.

Currently, Simon divides his time between the vibrant cities of New York, Paris, and Amsterdam where He is working on an exhibition that showcases a selection from his 'VICINUS' project.

This series blurs the lines between art and fashion, delving into the realms of diversity, beauty, and identity. The project features subjects such as a pre-op transgender girl, a professional female body-builder/dominatrix, and a size and body positivity activist.

The exhibition also includes two images from Simon's 'MASK' project, which explores identity and societal perception. In this series, famous supermodels don masks of various pop culture icons.

Titled 'NOBODY'S BABY NOW,' the exhibition will be held on June 29th from 10:00 to 21:00 at Fosbury & Sons Prinsengracht 769 in Amsterdam.
