Cossette Media, Canada’s largest independent media agency and member of the Plus Company network, is proud to announce it has been selected as the lead media agency for RONA inc., a Canadian leader in the home improvement sector. The partnership aims to support RONA’s nationwide initiatives and strategic growth.
As part of this collaboration, Cossette Media will play a key strategic role in strengthening brand recognition and driving RONA’s growth on a national scale. This comes at a pivotal moment for the company, as it celebrates its 85th anniversary and reinforces its market positioning across Canada.
The agency will be responsible for designing and executing the media strategy for the RONA+ and RONA banners. This includes creating impactful media campaigns, managing ad placements across traditional and digital channels, and providing performance analysis and ongoing optimization to maximize the brand’s impact and audience engagement.
“We are incredibly excited and proud to embark on this partnership with the RONA team. By placing consumer insights and data at the core of our strategies and integrated expertise, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver added value to RONA’s media strategy and support them during this important stage of their development,” said Martin Soubeyran, general manager, East of Canada, of Cossette Media.
“I am thrilled to begin this collaboration with Cossette Media, a Quebec-founded company like RONA. Their team embodies the same spirit of collaboration and drive for innovation that defines our own culture. I am confident that they will help us achieve our business and brand objectives during this key moment in our history, where RONA has become our sole retail banner across the country,” said Catherine Laporte, senior vice-president, marketing and customer experience at RONA inc.
This partnership adds to a series of recent successes for Cossette Media, further solidifying its presence as a leading player in the industry. The first campaigns stemming from this collaboration are set to launch in the spring of 2025.
