RocketMill Appoints Marketing Director as the Agency’s Growth Surge Continues

RocketMill, the UK’s largest employee-owned agency, has announced the appointment of Johanna Goucher as marketing director. In her new role, Goucher will focus on driving growth for RocketMill through the development of its marketing strategy across brand building, lead generation, talent acquisition  and internal communications.

Goucher moves to RocketMill from her previous role in marketing at Merkle, where she supported the growth of its marketing function in EMEA following its acquisition of Periscopix in 2015,  DBG and Comet in 2016 and many more subsequently. During this time, she was responsible for their EMEA  partner marketing strategy in the region as well as running their flagship client events, receiving awards for Excellence at their annual Merkle Awards in 2019.

The new hire comes at a pivotal time for RocketMill, who announced their Employee-Owned status, in which employees directly benefit from their work via equity, profit share and tax free bonuses, earlier this year. The status allows the agency to go well beyond the freedom of an independent to invest deeply into the community through equity, impact, social and sustainability initiatives, fostering a deeper sense of purpose.
