Riff Raff Hires Barney Richard as Partner & Sales EP

London based Riff Raff Films are stoked to announce that it has recruited Barney Richard as partner and Sales EP from FRIEND where he was co-founder and partner since 2011. Barney has been hired to work alongside MD/EP Matthew Fone to help support the company in its growth. Barney will build on Riff Raff’s reputation as a creative powerhouse, working alongside existing talent including MEGAFORCE, Francois Rousselet, Wes Anderson, Roman Coppola, Canada London, Emile Sornin and NEZ as well as supporting the companies passion for discovering and nurturing young talent

Matthew Fone Says: “Riff Raff seems to have gone from strength to strength, but there is only so much I can do, given I have 5 kids, a small brain and a company to run. So what I have been looking for is a partner to build on what we do well: making great creative work and nurturing new talent. Barney’s background, talent and enthusiasm is perfect for this. Great things are brewing, watch this space.”

Barney Richard says: “I’ve always admired Riff Raff as a company - they have always been synonymous with a high level of creative output, unique talent, a blend of young and established directors and they genuinely give a shit about what they do. The roster is exceptional and of course Matthew’s production background is second to none. It’s a company ready to burst and I want to be a part of making that happen. His appointment is effective immediately as he joins a team of Kate Elson@Agent Elson (Sales/PR) and Sarah Boardman who heads music videos.
