Registration Opens for First RGD Branding Awards Honouring Global Designers

An international awards program launches today that’s dedicated to one of the disciplines designers love most: branding. Rethink also executed the branding for the awards.

Hosted by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD), the RGD Branding Awards recognise and celebrate the best in branding and identity design from around the world.

Accepting work from large and small studios, firms, in-house teams and students, the RGD Branding Awards are an opportunity for designers of all levels to showcase their work and gain industry-wide recognition.

The awards branding itself, created by Rethink, is designed entirely out of branding’s unsung hero: the registered mark symbol.

The judging panel is stacked with designers from companies such as COLLINS, Bruce Mau Design and Landor & Fitch. These professionals have worked on globally-lauded brands including IKEA, Nike, Molson Coors, Apple, Nissan and more.

The award winners will be recognised in a printed awards annual; at DesignThinkers Toronto, Canada’s largest annual conference for graphic designers, and more.
