Radar Launches First Awards Dedicated to Best Music Videos from Emerging Directors, Artists & Bands
Radar, leaders in online music video commissioning, have set up an awards event with a difference, the first to find and recognise the best emerging directors bubbling up worldwide and to celebrate the emerging bands and artists who commission them.
Best new directors
Radar flies the flag for great videos from brand new talent, rewarding the best and helping talented new directors move up and sign to commercial production companies. The Awards help to further grease those wheels for great new directors.
Best creative artists
But great directors need great artists & bands to commission them and the Radar Awards also celebrate the artists & bands who recognise that. As music videos continue to be the most valuable asset in most marketing campaigns, we consider the best emerging artists with the bold moves, the great collaborators, the music video commissioning vision.
Directors’ prizes range from internships with the best production companies in the world (like Partizan, Pulse Films and Somesuch), to valuable training packages & other prestigious festival entries (notably, the UK Music Video Awards, the highest status industry awards worldwide).
Artists’ and bands’ prizes will include guaranteed features with some of music’s biggest blogs and specialist intern support to help create and execute marketing activities.
The awards will be held on July 14th 2016 at the innovative and exclusive YouTube Spaces in London.
