QUAD Signs Four New Directors

Quad Productions announces the signing of directors Charlotte Rutherford, Nina Aaldering, Marie Vinay and Nick Harmsen.

With their eclectic mix of engaged, raw and even provocative images, they have an approach to visual storytelling that speaks to brands in the luxury, sport, beauty and fashion worlds, but transcends traditional labels.  

Charlotte Rutherford

London born, Los Angeles based photographer and director Charlotte Rutherford draws inspiration from the digital realm and social media for an aesthetic that is free and forward thinking. This disruptive aesthetic has been recognised by the world’s best publications, brands and personalities from Numéro, Playboy and Purple to Savage x Fenty, Adidas, Perrier. Charlotte is currently at work on short film collaborations and a coffee table book.

Nina Aaldering 

Nina's work is best described as emotional. She gravitates towards nuanced, compelling, feminine portraits, but no matter the brand, she's able to tease out a feeling we can connect to through her eye for aesthetics. A former copywriter based in Amsterdam, Nina sees advertising as being about aspiration. It’s about a dream, that has the potential to become real. And she simply loves daydreaming.

Marie Vinay 

Marie has lived in Sydney and Los Angeles where she started her career in the close team of director Dimitri Basil. Back in Paris, she directed documentaries in the world of fashion. She has directed talents like Kendall Jenner or Taylor Hill and created content for the model agency Viva and the Magazine Vogue.

Nick Harmsen 

Nick Harmsen is a self-taught Dutch director, and a firm believer in the collaborative magic of filmmaking. The founder of a boutique production company in Amsterdam, Nick has worked in TV as an editor and as a cinematographer. He thrives on working with the whole crew to realise his raw, hypnotic and colourful vision.
