The Korean-born, UCLA grad John S. Park is widely considered a central figure in a new wave of directing talent from Korea.
John's impressive list of commercial, documentary, and short form content is distinctive for mixing the narrative and image-driven styles of Eastern and Western advertising traditions, to great effect. The result is a body of work that's evocative and sensory through his powerful visual technique.
Known for directing real people and actors alike, John garnered international acclaim and a Gold Lion for the project "What Does Your Mind See?" for Samsung about 11 blind students shooting photographs using all of their sense but sight to guide them.
